We have had the honour of working with the Inglewood Night Market for 5+ years, giving us an in-depth and technical understanding of the impact these markets have on the community. Typically running every second Friday during the summer months, the Inglewood Night Market supports the small businesses, makers and musicians of the city, while igniting a vibrant culture beloved and embraced by the community year after year. 

In the wake of the pandemic, the market survived and thrived, pivoting its event footprint and implementing safety measures to continue supporting the local community. With restrictions and yet another wave making the holiday season look grim was the birth of the Christmas Holiday Night Market, which has now been a sold-out event for two years in a row.

one market, two markets, three…

In the beginning, we were brought on to simply manage social media. The ask was simple, promote the market and showcase the experience at the market from an event-goers perspective on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Over the years this expanded into coordinating press releases, managing media on-site, inviting influencers to come to experience the market, coordinating the photographers, managing local partnerships, and running digital ads leading up to the events. 

Being so well acquainted with the Night Market Audience, we’ve worked with the team to pivot, refine and strengthen our marketing strategy every year. Through strong visuals and storytelling, we aim to convey the positive economic impact that the market generates locally while garnering a strong media interest and generating buzz that will continue creating lasting connections with the brands, people and community that make up the market. 

Growing with the Night Market, we’ve applied a similar strategy to help the events team launch the Christmas Inglewood Night Market, along with a similar summer market on 4th Street in Calgary and coming soon to summer 2022 a variety of other communities throughout the city.
